Step 1: Tap the Status Button

To begin, tap the "Status" button, which is conveniently located in the top right corner of your KloudEats tablet. This button is your gateway to adjusting the kitchen's status.

Step 2: Switch to "Busy"

When you tap on the "Status" button, you'll have the option to select "Busy." This is ideal for those times when orders are pouring in, and your kitchen is bustling with activity. Once you choose "Busy," the color of the status button will change to yellow, indicating to both your staff and KloudEats that the kitchen is in high-demand mode.

Step 3: Switch to "Pause"

If you need to temporarily pause your services, you can select the "Pause" option. By choosing this option, the status button will turn red, indicating that your restaurant is currently not accepting new orders. It's a valuable feature when you need to catch up on existing orders or take a breather.

Additional Prep Time

In addition to selecting the store status, you have the flexibility to adjust the additional preparation time your restaurant may need during busy periods. This ensures that orders are delivered or ready for pickup within the expected timeframe, even during peak hours.

Step 4: Apply the Changes

Finally, after you've made all the necessary adjustments, tap on "Apply" to update the status of your restaurant. Your chosen status and any additional prep time will take effect, allowing you to provide the best service to your customers.
