How to Add or Edit Tip Suggestions for Delivery Orders

The Tip Suggestions setting in the KloudEats ADMIN dashboard allows you to provide tip options to customers during the checkout process for delivery orders. Here’s how to add or edit these suggestions.

Steps to Add or Edit Tip Suggestions

Step 1: Log in to your KloudEats ADMIN dashboard.

Step 2: On the left-hand side column, click on the 'Settings' section.

Step 3: Then, choose the 'Payment and Fees' option. You will find the 'Tip Suggestions' option under it. Make sure you are on the Delivery page.

Step 4: Click the 'New' button. A 'New Delivery Tip Suggestion' pop-up box will appear.

Step 5: Check the 'Available' checkbox to make the tip option visible to customers during checkout.

Step 6: Enter the tip suggestion label in the 'Name' box.

Step 7: Enter the tip percentage.

Step 8: Click the 'Submit' button to save the tip suggestion.

Default Tip Suggestion

You also have the option to set a default tip percentage. This will be applied to all the orders when the customers are in the checkout window.

Step 1: On the Delivery Tip Suggestions page, move to the 'Default Tip Suggestion' section.

Step 2: Use the dropdown, where you will see a list of tips you have created and select one  you want as your default tip.

Step 3: Click on the Submit button for the changes to apply.

Note: Select the 'Unselect default tip suggestion' option and click on the Submit button if you do now wish to add the default tip.

Providing tip suggestions during checkout can enhance customer satisfaction and support your staff. Add and configure these suggestions to suit your restaurant’s tipping policies.
